I have a 2022 Toyota Aygo Exclusive. As I reverse I see the usual blue lines but instead of reversing back in a straight line I find I have reversed at an angle. For example, if I reverse up my drive to my garage door but using my wing mirrors and own vision I can park the car straight on to the door. If I use the reversing camera to line myself up I find when I get out and check I have ended up at an angle to the door. The same parking in a parking slot where I may think I am lined up an appropriate distance from the parallel white lines but find I am not. Is there a way of adjusting the reversing camera so that it provides an accurate indication?

Hi Richard, I think the dynamic reversing camera can be altered to change direction when reversing and this can be altered in settings, but without it I do not believe you can adjust it.

It's still under warranty so pop it back to dealer and ask them to take a look just to confirm if it is working properly.

I often have the same problem.

Since I bought the aygoX I can't seem to park the car straight.

I thought it was me... never thought it could be the cars fault.

I always park using the camera. Maybe I will try to use the mirrors more as you kind of suggest.

Me to!!! Good to know I'm not alone in thinking my reverse parking needs work!!

Now that this has been mentioned, I just thought it's because I came from driving larger 4x4 vehicles for 30 odd years and most of them had reverse cameras and I could park them perfectly.  The Aygo X, I seem to not park it straight when reversing into a space, I'll just have to practice more !!

Not be on the forum for awhile but I note others have the same problem. It is no good lining up the reversing camera with the white lines of a parking bay and not using that. You will be out of alignment.  As it seems many have this problem it sounds like a defect that Toyota should pick up and rectify.

I knew it was going to be the camera.  I've ALWAYS been pretty good at reverse and parallel parking until I got the Aygo X.

Not a issue for me now, as I swapped the Aygo X for a Yaris Cross and it has 360 all round cameras and are pretty impressive !!
