Insurance refund

I got a letter from Toyota Insurance Services (AIOI) in November saying that I was due a £39 refund for overcharges made during the period 2018 to 2021.

All I had to do was click on a link and give my bank details. Mmmm, yes, I thought and then you empty my bank account and I nearly binned the letter.

I Phoned Toyota Insurance Services on Monday to renew for 2024 and mentioned the refund and was told it was genuine. 

Only posting this in case anyone else has received a similar letter.

Not often you hear insurance and refund together.

On a different matter - but a refund - was Amazon saying that the price of the Ninja Airfryer I bought in the Black Friday sale had reduced further in price and they refunded me £30 straight to my bank account.  Don't think any high street / shopping centre shop would do likewise. Love 'em or hate 'em Amazon deserves a pat on the back for that.

Direct line had major issues with this, it was when the new insurance system come in, a lot of peoples rates were miscalculated
