Squeaky steering wheel

When I test drove my car (2019 Dynamic AWD) it did not make this noise.  When I got it home I altered the height of it, and afterwards the wheel squeaked every time it was turned.  I fiddled about with the height adjustment again, and it disappeared for a while, only to return when I drove it today.  Is this just something that needs lubrication somewhere?

Most likely something in the frame that holds the steering wheel. I'm assuming you can recreate the problem by applying force to the steering wheel in some direction, either up/down or left/right? (as opposed to trying to turn the wheel)

It could be the adjustment mechanism or something in that area that is loose. I've had a similar issue where there was just one bolt that wasn't tightened enough which allowed for a slight movement where there shouldn't be and made it creek. It could also be the plastic covers that make a squeaky noise in certain positions.

Might be good to take it back to your dealer or a trusted garage to have a look at it and determine the source of the noise.
