It doesn't look like you'll run out Bob.

I have pre baked e few prawn vol-au-vents, and got a jar of pickled onions.

As you may have gathered, I am very 1970s.

Snap! Actually my vol-au-vents are chicken and ham, but I have the pickled onions, some prawns and some of that pinkish sauce stuff to dip them in.

You have to have the pink sauce for the prawns. They're not the same without it

I'm a step ahead of you there. I'll be having a drink while on my iPad. It's supposed to be water resistant

Apparently Apple designs its devices with a degree of water resistance to protect them from accidental spills and splashes, so I should be good if someone bumps my elbow 👍

Of course.

The water will however, be frozen, and flavoured with alcohol.

Well, I shall be making the sauce with Puglia extra virgins, Burford brown duchy eggs,a touch of Corvoisier V.S.O.P cognac,a tiny bit of lea and Perrin's, and coloured with organic single source sun-dried tomato puree.

Yeah, right I will.

Try a more simple recipe, Tomato sauce, mayonnaise and a squirt of fresh lemon juice and a little sugar if a bit to tangy.

Well, the reality is that it will be the cheapest rip off of Heinz salad cream looka likee from Aldi, mixed with some tomato ketchup I found at the back of the pantry, expired October 2022.

I have got a Christmas lemon though,so that might liven it up a bit.

Also sat here Guinness in hand.

Had a choice or Guinness Original (brewed in Dublin) or Guinness Foreign (brewed in Nigeria), but stayed with Original
