Estima VIN

Hello,

I need to find the VIN on my Toyota Estima, but cannot find it. I have found the plate with the vehicle model number. 

I saw online that it would be under the drivers seat, but I cannot get access without taking the seat out. There appears to be no plate in the engine compartment either.

I need a new V5 as mine is lost so it's essential that I fine the VIN.

Can anyone help?

JDM vehicles have Frame Numbers, not VINs...mine is on a metal plate on the inside (engine bay) of the nearside wing.

Thanks for that. I saw that the frame number is on the same plate as the chassis number.

It would appear that the frame number is being rejected by DVLA, which I put in the VIN number section, though if I look for my car on the tax section, via licence plate number, it's clearly there. I've never had to renew the log book since I bought it, but have recently moved and it's gone west. Any ideas? Is this a problem that we have with Japanese Import cars?

Not a problem AFAIK...I've certainly not had an issue and I can't recall this coming up before.

you need to enter it accurately, try it with and without the hyphen (dash)

eg.

AZR60-0407397

Or

AZR600407397

On my V5 the frame number is shown WITH the hyphen/Dash.

When I use the Partsouq website it needs the hyphen as well
