Please can you share your experience with the entertainment system in your car. I am getting more frustrated by the day. My dad has the same car one month older than mine and has the same issues

I'm perfectly satisfied with the entertainment system in my car - I have no issues. 😉 

It might help if you outlined the issues that you and your father have?

Where do i start, the radio has a stutter. The sat nav has no sense of direction. For months I could only connect one phone, then all of a sudden I could connect my second phone and it switched easily between the two. Now it’s back to one at a time. The app sometime tracks journeys, some times not. I switched off Apple CarPlay because the app did not track I journeys while it was connected. Listen to podcasts through music sources, and often it just drops connection. I’ve  attached photos of todays issues

There have been various reports of folk repeatedly encountering the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. This is 'resolved' by logging in to the system using your Toyota account details and saving those details within the system. It then knows who you are and that you have previously accepted the Ts&Cs.

This will also, probably, address the issues you have with tracking journeys and visibility within the app. While the car can report trip information to Toyota, the Toyota system will not allow you to access trip information unless it is associated with your account.

Beyond that, the simplest resolution to your issues is probably to take the car back to the dealer to get them to help you set-up the system. And if there is then a fault remaining, they can then set about addressing that under warranty ...
