Infotainment dark mode

Hi everyone, is there anyway of keeping the infotainment screen set to dark mode with the headlights set to auto ? Thanks

Have you looked in Head unit display settings ?
Mine has Dark/Light/Auto

Mine has day mode which it's off but when I just got in the car the screen was white , day mode only shows up in settings if it turns dark

Thanks , my lights are set to auto , there's no option on the stalk to turn off the lights , I'll try taking them off auto and seeing what settings pop up

On my car, if I go to settings and turn off 'Auto' I get the day and night options. With 'Auto' on, I get the day mode during the day, and night mode at night.

Well I've just checked , if I turn the headlight switch to " side " lights or " dipped beam " then I get no extra settings, just the settings in my earlier pic I posted , I thought I'll leave my car with the switch turned to " side " lights but they don't go off when the key is removed, it says on the dash " turn off lights " there isn't an off switch!! Auto , side or dipped only 🤦🏻‍♂️

This refers to the navigation settings.  I currently have mine set to night mode but once the days get longer and brighter I will set it to auto.

So if I go in navigation settings and set it to dark then that makes the screen dark all the time ?

Tried the changing navigation to dark , that just puts the map in dark mode but the rest is in white mode ! Basically I can't find any way of making the screen dark permanently!
