just did a 110 km drive. fuel gauge didnt move

4.7l 100 kms still.

so far this is the most econimical car i have ever owned...that drive was at 60mph with cruize control on and 20 kms in town.

60 mpg on the button. second best car i have had was a hyundai i30 diesel 55 mpg.

ok the aygo is slow but it delivers great mpg so i'm happy.

kia stonic we had was 45 mpg..fast turbo car but dreadful on fuel

The carpenters..   yesterday once more.

You will see the best of it in summer. You will easily reach 4.3 or less then.

Yes! The Aygo X looks better with her big wheels. The downside is that these tyres (high are narrow) are uncommon and expensive. I searched for a spare wheel as accessory and no one offered one in this size.

I am at 4,3L/100 now in winter. I frequently go below 4 on some trips (3,7 or even lower) but the main screen always read a minimum of 4,1 so far. This is excellent and I use less fuel than on my previous Aygos (mk1 and mk2).

Enjoy your car!

yeah 17 inch tyres for our cars are very pricey.

being a tight a$$ i got winter tyres and wheels  included in the price.

18 inch are more expensive and less brands make them...

But..  can't change it 😀

I have the 18 inch ones..  hope they last long.

Figure out : on my aygo the size is 175/60/18

I find it amusing your Aygos have rims 2-3 inches bigger than my Yaris!

That's just so they are able to give SOME explanation when we complain we have overspent on it.

With that climate, has it got the heated seats option?  I hope so, because the actual climate heater in the Aygo X is not very good.  Mind you I'm comparing it with Lexus and Toyota 4x4s which I had in the past, so a bad comparison.

In the below example, I wouldn't call the 17" option pricey.

I think Drew was saying they were winter tyres that were pricy? The ones you linked above are only summer tyres which will be cheaper.

correct.

yep it has heated seats. all cars sold here have them. and boy do they get hot.

heaters are good in our cars but take 10 minutes to work. this aygo is only our back up car. we use the leaf 95% of the time. that car we can pre-heat from an app.

minus 26c here this morning. lets see how easy the aygo starts.

no way can use the leaf in this cold. lucky to get 50 miles to a full charge

started fine. trouble getting it in gear though. cold oil?

Second gear always cracked in my aygo2 and now too in my aygoX.

Only when cold..

There is a clear difference between cold gearbox oil and warm one in the way the gearbox works.

When it's cold I always try to change gears super slow...  but that is not always enough to avoid the cracks.

took me about a minute to get it to go into first gear. had to push the clutch in and out many times.

from the feel of these they use old designed gearboxes. nothing wrong with that. but it's not refined. in a way our cars remind of cars from the 90's. even the starter motor has an old kinda sound to it.

can only expected on a cheap car .

heaters took about 20 minutes to warm the cabin at minus 25c. lucky the heated seats are incredible on ours. red hot in about 20 seconds.

5.6l per 100kms at 110kmh at minus 25 on winter tryes.

tanked it. 15 liters to go 280km's..happy with that

actually for the money our cars are amazing. holds a straight line on the motorway easily. easy can travel 500kms in one day in this car.. adaptive cruize control works flawlessly,

over the moon with the car. 16 000 euros can complain at all. also being a toyota it should outlive me..i'm 60 this year. 5 years untill i retire. found out november i'll be getting 800 quid a month british pension on top of my 1400 quid a month swedish pension. in the uk as long as you've paid at least 10 years national insurance contributions you'll get at least 80% pension. i worked for 25 years in london so all good.

got enough cash in the bank to easy cover me untill i retire so can call it a day now if i wanted.. house long paid off so our monthly outlay is about 500 quid a month.

wife earns 4k month after tax. imho you have to be 100% debt from from 50 years of age. gives you 15 years to save a lump of cash and to help your children out.

we built the house in 2007. paid it off 2017. 150m5 1000m2 garden. underfloor heating.. may be giving it to our son when we move to spain.

if we can afford to just give him it with everything in it. we'll see. so far as long as i'm working we're saving about 4000 quid a month. so if keep going untill 2029 should save another 300k..the house is worth about 400k

picked the car up all ok.

got 300 quid off because it had a small stone chip on the windscreen and a scratched headlight.

so far so good. 5.3l per km's which equates to about 55 mpg i think..that was 70 mph motorway for 70 miles.

tyres are so expensive for this. got a deal with winter tyres included. car is an ex demo. 20k brand new here. got it for 16k with 1.5k worth of winter tyres included
