Thanks for that. I can see that the wheels are steelies with covers so I am guessing 17" rims.

Could you please tell me the tyre size? Is it 175/65R17?

Cheers.

if it had 100 bhp it would be perfect. kia stonic gt-line we had was a 1.0t with 120 bhp.. hated the mild hybrid system

I've been saying for years if they put Yaris engines in the Aygo it would make it hilarious fun

I guess they don't because they're scared they'll cannibalize Yaris sales (And yet the Aygox gets heated seats but the Yaris doesn't!)

If the aygo cross had 100+ bhp I would buy one. I had a mk1 and mk2 and the only thing I didn't like about them was the lack of power and having to constantly change gear to keep moving.

Other than that they were the perfect city car. With my first one which i had had about a month, I remember hearing a bong bong noise every time I started it and after a while I realised it was low on petrol.

Motoring for minimal cost.  Shame they didnt increase the power for the latest model.

look what we have to put up with. i'm 60 october. 60 months untill i retire. 2.2k sterling pension coming my way from that day. wife is 2 years younger.

not long to go untill we get out of here and move to the costa del sol in spain.

we have 200k in savings so i can retire now if i wanted. the wife earns 80k a year sterling as a specialist nurse. can easy live on her salary.

but we want 400k by the time we retire. no way gonna ever struggle for cash in me old age. got to grab the cash while you can in this life.

if i stop working next week then we'll be fine. house is worth about 500k.

By the way, Drew..
You are on the positive side of petrol consumption for one other reason we didnt think of yet.
I guess you have the 17 inch wheels ..   and they are better size for fuel consumption.
The bigger, the more beautiful, some people like to think often but the smaller size could be great for a better fuel consumption.
I bet the 17 compared to the 18 inch wheels could make a +/- 0.2 liter consumption difference easily.
I remember I made the comparison for my AURIS TS hybrid before and the 17 inch that were on were consuming more petrol than 15 inch.
Since I always thought the hybrids should be all about a top consumption figure, I never understood why Toyota could be so daft to put the big wheels on the car.

yep heavy wheels do nothing to help a car. just for looks and nothing else. my 2017 chevy camaro ss wheels were 20 inch and weighed a ton

A big nono imho for the big wheels is that the tyres are low and you tend to destroy the aluminum wheels on every curb you need to park next to.

It's difficult to not destroy them in one year time...   that's my idea and feeling about it.

I would buy any car with 15 inch wheels and high tyres if I could, just for that reason.
