hi can someone help i have fitted an electric tailgate opener i have made all the conections except for the one where you have to get the power cable from the fuses on the left side of the car to the release button just right of the steering wheel   Any ideas  and i have looked on quite a few fitting instruction and videos but none show how to do this

Didn't the kit you purchased include the necessary instructions?

On the one that I looked up online, the power cable runs down the left-hand side of the vehicle taking power from the fuse box, while the control cable runs down the right-hand side of the vehicle to the 'open/close' button. So, to answer your question, it goes via the control unit at the back of the car - it doesn't go directly from fuse box to switch ...

thanks replying to my question  as you can see from the photo i have one long cable that goes from front to back and one short cable with the rear boot opener button so i need to now what panels i need to move to thread it under the dashboard to hide it
