Hi guys,

The dreaded EPB issue! Literally i replaced the actuator and rear drivers caliper a year ago due it it becoming faulty. Now a year on I've got a new issue. If i try to manually release or engage the handbrake with the switch the warning (parking brake inoperable' comes on the dash. I was having a issue were it wasn't automatically engaging but after trying it many times yesterday it works when driving off and turning the ignition off.

It has all started i find after driving home for 3 hours in bad rain, there was heaps of surface water on the road and can only guess water has got in somewhere it shouldn't have.

Codes that come up with a scan are

C13A3 - open or short circuit in the lock switch circuit.

C13A5 - electronic current of motor.

 

Any ideas?
