Front Cut/engine Swap

Where is everybody getting there front cuts? Are they from toyotasera? Would an ep82 gt turbo engine fit a ep91 starlet? and obviously the glanza turbo as well !

Does the bay need strenthend? How hard is the conversion? Sorry for all the q's !!!

p.s Who has done this conversion ? any pics?

I have done a conversion with a EP82 turbo engine into a EP91 SR.

It's a direct fit because the engine of the Glanza V and EP82 are the same.

It's very easy to do the conversion we did it in a weekend.

Here's how we did it:

Friday: Remove bonnet,frontbumper, disconnect all plugs from the 4EFE engine , Removed oil and coolant.

Saturday morning: We removed the 4EFE engine, cleaned the engineroom.

Saturday afternoon: Fit the 4EFTE , put in the axles.

Saturday evening did some work on the wiring loom.

Sunday put in the wiring loom and fit all the bits that we removed on friday.

Sunday afternoon we did a test drive :D:D
