I have been trying for ages to discover where the water that appears in drivers footwell is coming from.Door seals, Antenna not the culprit but then noticed the moulding in photo on drivers side is soaked as opposed to the one on passenger side.Could this possibly be the area water is getting in and what is the cause. Any ideas welcome.

Water ingress in any car is a nightmare. You have my sympathy in trying to track it down.

If you can get an idea of the "where" then I'll happily recommend this:

All the best with it.

Quite possibly.  Overtime, leaves will be trapped, decomposed and create blockage at drain holes.  When water can not flow down the drain hole by designed, it will flow sideway potentially make its way into the cabin.  So whenever you have a leak with a puddle of water around the firewall, it is a logical move to remove that puddle and see if the leak goes away.
