Vibration

I have a 2020 2.0 hybrid and I've only had it 6 weeks , it's got a strange vibration from 70/80 mph and a slight hum between 30/40 , it doesn't feel anything like a wheel or bearing or tyre or brake issue, could it be the transmission? I'd be grateful for any advice. It's done 35 k. I've booked it in for this Friday.

Have you considered the possibility of a tyre being out of balance?  We don’t seem to see balance weights fitted to the wheels these days - probably due to improvement in production standards - but pe-vulcanisation building of a tyre could result in it being out of balance.

You can't see balance weights these days because they are fitted to the inside of the wheels so they are out of sight and don't spoil the look of alloy wheels.
