DAB Issue

Since a recent flat Battery repair, I can no longer receive any DAB stations except 1 local BBC one. The Refresh Station List will not find any more, when previously I could receive at least 60. I have checked the antenna which is fine, as I can still receive FM stations. All other functions are working, i.e. bluetooth and SatNav. Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks.

On my 2016 Yaris the radio antenna has 2 connections, 1 for FM and another for DAB with a built in amplifier. Mine failed the other way round, DAB working fine but no FM. The solution was a new antenna forrtunately done under warranty.

What was the repair? A new Battery or a jump start or a recharge?

If it was all fine before and then problems immediately following whatever was done I can only suggest (assuming that nothing works with regard to retuning etc) would be to disconnect the 12 volt Battery for a short while, then reconnect and set everything up from scratch.

When were they last working? I think a bunch of radio stations have switched from DAB to DAB+ recently (ClassicFM and a few others I forget), which may be why it's not working if yours doesn't support +...?

Switch to DAB+ unlikely to be the problem, even my old 2016 Yaris supports DAB+.

Go into the hidden menu, tap Failure diagnostics, and see if you have any codes - you can also go into function check and look at the signal strengh

Access to the service menu.

Press and hold the music or car button and turn the sidelights on and off 3 times
