I see that the price of the bZ4X has been reduced on the Toyota website. You need to go to the ‘build your bZ4X’ page to see the new prices as bZ4X prices not in December price list.

Mmmmm I'm hoping that as I've still not got a delivery date for my car and finance paperwork hasn't yet been signed the dealer will honour the reduced prices.

Maybe not. You agreed a price when you bought the car. It's the same as you buying the car and then the price of the car going up. You would want them to honour the original lower price deal.

There is no harm in negotiating with them. The worst they can say is no, and then you have to option to walk away.

Bob, when I ordered my Yaris Cross in September the deal was  the current or new price, whichever was lower and current or new interest whichever wzz lower.

Maybe others have that agreement.

A brilliant way to negotiate @Roy124. I do hope that @JonathanP gets the lower price

@Big_D his offer, who's to refuse.

The dealer might say they want the original price as agreed when the car was ordered ad may refuse to honour the new lower price, or @JonathanP may refuse to take the car unless the new lower price is honoured by the dealer

Depends on how much the deposit was - if say £ 500 then maybe walk way but if £2k then losing that - how does it compare to the cheaper price plus the wait for a car from someone else.
The website says the finance (and hence the price) applies to cars financed from 14/12/23 to 02/04/24 and registered by 01/07/24.

I went into dealership yesterday to sign the paperwork for my bZ4x that was ordered in September 2023 and is now at dealership and dealer reduced the price of the bZ4x vision by £3000.

That's good. I've not signed the paperwork and ordered the same sort of time.

Mine is expected at the dealer at the end of this month, but he's given me the option to delay picking it up so I can collect it march 1st for the 24 plate.

I'll probably do that as it wasn't expected until march anyway, What's a few more weeks 😊

Got the discount, this was after the sales agent confirmed it had been reduced but then the finance person still tried to sign me up to the origonal direct debit.
Once I questioned it, suddently the direct debit came down by £75 a month, which to be honest was more of a discount per month than I expected.
Just a shame that it feels like the finance person was trying to pull the wool over my eyes with it and blaiming the wholesale price being different.

Either way finally picking up my car on the 1st bright and early. The sales agent wasn't sure if 8.30am was too early, but when you have a 1 year old and 8 year old a lay in after 7am is a dream.
