Hello guys,

I am seriously thinking of buying this Toyota 2019 version and whom better to ask about the experience then the owners.

The few cars that I saw which are in my price range both have around 120-130k kms(74.5k mi). My main concern is if I should take this heavily into consideration, since it is a hybrid and I have no experience with hybrid. What I read online is that batteries in Toyotas rarely fail, and usually outlast the car with the age of more then 10 years.

Apart from that, I like this car a lot for its fuel economy and space, as we are a family of three and soon to increase. 🙂 I am also not commuting daily, so it will be more weekend gateway car with occasional trips to the city.

Looking forward to your hints.

The next option I am looking into is Seat Leon 2019 Touring, with gasoline. Less money, similar mileage, but not hybrid.

Best regards.

Hi Nikola, I bought my car new towards the end of 2019. Only covered 23k miles but never missed a beat. Excellent little car and as you said, very economical.

In the UK the warranty is 10 years with 15 years for the Battery, both depending on a main dealer yearly service.

Hi,

If me I will definitely go for the Toyota.
I have Auris hybrid from 2010 with 263000 miles and on its original batteries both high voltage and small 12v one.
These hybrids sensibly driven and well maintained can go 250k miles and more on almost everything original with only regular service.

Hello guys,

Thank you very much for your answers. I now feel more comfortable to buy this Toyota and join the club. 🙂

I will check about the warranty. It is one of the official dealers selling, so I would assume that it had regular services.

Best regards,

Nikola
