Okay..

you strip Yaz down, completley..

Take a 2JZ-GTE engine, install it just infront of the rear axle (Clio V6 style). Tune to around the 500bhp mark (quite easy, the 2JZ can get double that)

couple that engine to a 6-speed box and 4 wheel drive.

Obviously install the radiator etc in the front, box off the engine (but viewable for shows) for safety.

Rebuild, replacing most of the panels with Fibreglass.

:D

i think ive just come........:wacko:

but please dont relate to a Clio

install it just infront of the rear axle (MR2 style)

an artists impression (oh okay, mine) of what Yaz would look like with this conversion...

This has been done for real!!

Well, the bodykit isn't exactly the same as your, very nice I must add, artists' impression.

In the 2001 (i think) season Jean-Pierre Richelmi was racing a rear-engined, some odd 500 bhp Yaris in the IRSI championship.

I wanted that car soooo bad. Lack of funds made me settle for a TS though. :D

Cheers, Yves.
