Hi, I'm new to this forum so here is a quick intro.

I have 3 toyotas....

1) Company car - work horse... 2004 Avensis T3S D4D Estate... nice car, sat nav is great, quiet and good on fuel.

2) Missus has a SW20 MR2 Turbo T-Bar, Rev II model 1992, totaly stock

3) My Toy.... 1989 GT4 ST185..modified a bit... (details further down)

Previous to the GT4 I have had a Prelude (1989 model) that I used for track days and generally eating up fuel and tarmac with. Before that a couple of other old preludes, a Galant GTi 4x4, and before going Jap had a Belmont.... don't laugh it was tuned too hell, ran big carbs and race suspension !

Anyway, my main toy is the GT4... here is a list of what it has for anyone who is sad that way (like me)

Direct import JDM1989 ST185

Carlos Seinz (CS) Cylinder head (185 head with 9 manifold studs)

TTE 1.2mm head gasket

Turbo Force Stage 2 turbo with a restrictor to increase mid range torque.

Hypersport and racing 2.5" downpipe (no cat)

Mongoose 2.5" system

Hypersport and racing front mount intercooler

Magnecore HT Leads

TVIS Removed completely and spline holes filled.

FSE motorsport fuel pump

Dastec Unichip - fitted and tuned by John Noble motorsport

Lagged downpipe and induction pipes

Hispec big brake conversion (Alloy 4 pots with 2 piece discs)

Current Celica VVti alloys

Eibach -35mm sprngs

KYB Gas shocks

TRD top mounts all round

HKS air filter

Toyota rear roof level spoiler

think thats most of it....

result....

280lbft @ 3800 rpm

270bhp @ 600rpm

mid range engine runs at 1.4bar to help torque

top end boost is only 1.2bar

the idea of this is to help engine life and mechanical sympathy etc....

car is a white narrow body model, still with its climate control, electric seat, sunroof etc....
