Hi team Toyota Corolla, something I have noticed lately is the rear Speakers in my '19 hatch are quieter than the front , quite a lot tbh also the sound stage is quite forward sounding mainly because of the quieter rear Speakers so to sort this I have faded the sound slightly towards the rear making the sound not as full on up front , anyone else notice their rears quieter and do yiu fade yours ???

Pic attached to show faded sound

That explains that then , tbh I only have dab playing around the 50 volume mark so I'm ok with that , I do think faded slightly to the rear that it's not as harsh sounding because it is front heavy sounding, like they say , you don't go to a concert and turn your back on it .....

Yes, the rear Speakers are noticeably quieter, so I fade mine just as you have.

Mind you I tend to do this in most cars as, to me, they all tend to be a bit front-heavy.

It seems to be a 'Toyota thing' to some extent, the rear Speakers in our Avensis were like it too. I don't bother adjusting the fader as it's usually only the dogs who travel in the rear of my car and they don't like my choice of music 😉

I agree with all of the above.  The rear Speakers are next to useless.

Edgie,

I had a look at my sound setup this morning.  I have mine faded to the rear the same amount as you, I still can't hear them when I am sitting in the front.

Yeah you're right , I've faded it one click towards the front now ( still faded one click to the rear ) rears don't go any louder but at least I don't have to increase the volume as much now .
