Just want to check that this charger is ok to use with the cross, I’m not planning on using the car this weekend so was going to put it on charge

Short answer Yes. Other owners will chime in who have used them, I'm on my 4th hybrid and never needed a charger. You shouldn't have to use it either if you're not using your car only for the weekend.

Sorry I didn't take the time to read your post properly, but the answer is still yes. It takes very little time on the charger to have enough power to get started.

@Bernard Foy yes but it won't hurt to use it.  The speed with which it reaches the float stage is a good indicator of the battery's prior state.

I know I shouldn’t need to use it but it was left for two days over Christmas and wouldn’t start, I suppose it didn’t help by doing a very short journey on Christmas Eve, so I thought I wouldn’t take a chance if I’m not using it anymore this weekend..

As a matter of interest, I used my car for a short run this morning but popped it on charge just now.

Stage 1 is increasing the voltage to 12.5v.  It went straight from power on to stage 3, increasing to 14.5v.

I think the ctek I have only indicates charging then goes onto conditioning via led indicators…

The voltages I quoted are the book values only indicated by the LED progression.
