Service contract

My 2022 RAV4 PHEV personal contract plan is due to end this March and I’m paying off the balloon payment so it will be mine. Eventually after 8 years PCP I will finally own a car!

My question is whether to go for a service plan or just pay each year when due. I’ve been quoted

Full service £370 and Intermediate £240 (not sure if VAT already added) which I’m told is the normal price and doesn’t rise. My only benefit is half price MOT saving me a massive £25 🥂🍾

I like the Toyota garage but just wondered what other people are paying and do they stick with Toyota ?

Any info appreciated, thanks.

So, it's inflation proof - if you wait until the service is due it will cost you more. The benefit is that you pay monthly at today's prices. The downside is that you pay in advance. It's entirely your choice ...

(I opt for the plan)

Which are the current prices including VAT.

A service plan fixes your service costs at the time the plan is taken out.

Without a service plan, if service costs increase, which they will at some point, you pay the increased costs.
