MY23 query

Hi everyone, just started on the forum and enjoying reading all the posts. I’m in the uk and just placed an order a few days ago at the dealer for a Yaris cross design. I appreciate it’s been touched on in the forum but I’m still a wee bit confused. On the paperwork it states a MY23 has been ordered. Estimated delivery 1st of may 24. I assume this means I would be receiving the 2023 version and not the 2024 version? I’ve tried to research the main differences but can’t really seem to find much information. I appreciate it will be registered as a 24 plate but just wondered if it was a big deal or just very minor changes? I’ve just gone for the basic design model in scarlet flare no extras. Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers

I think (So don't take this as gospel) the top-end specs get a more powerful drivetrain, and they all get the newer infotainment with a bigger screen and the newer safety system (Going from Toyota Safety Sense to the newer "T-Mate"* system), but for the most part the car is the same.

I think the dash is a newer system too which is more customizable; From what I've seen I think I'd prefer it to the YarisX's dash, but I still prefer the normal Mk4 Yaris dash.

*I'm reliably informed it's the name of the new safety system package and not a creamer for tea
