For a three year old Toyota AYGO x-trend Hatchback 1.0 VVT-i x-trend Euro 6 5dr (Safety Sense) and a 5 month old Toyota Aygo X Edge Hatchback?

They are Aygo by the name, the Aygo X is vastly different it's a Toyota from the ground up

as the Aygo X is under a year old, 1st year tax is £185, so the remainder of the first year tax should be pro-rated - otherwise they are the same to tax (£180)

I would be more worried about insurance as the market is all over the shop, as there have been some major changes in the last 3-4 months

Emission rates are only applicable at first registration.  Subsequent years it’s dependent on fuel type.

Here in sweden the road tax for our cars is. about 380 quid a year the first 4 years.

then 36 quid a year after that, same as our leaf. thats 36 quid a year

My son has the Aygo X-Trend. It is a 2020 model and he loves it. If I remember correctly, road tax is about £180.00.
