Hi everyone I have a 2021 Rav4 hybrid. Previously I made an under car cleaning device to attach to my jetwash to blast under my GR Yaris with salt-away to get rid of salt from under car. Is there any cables or anything under the Rav4 that could be affecting by pressurised water? I’ve never had a hybrid before..

im planning on having the car for 10 years + and don’t want it ruined with rust down the line.

Your profile says that you have a GR Yaris - nothing about a RAV4, let alone which specification you have.

Yes, there are high voltage cables running underneath a hybrid that are exposed to whatever get thrown up from the road. I use an underbody lance to hose down the underside of mine and the wheels haven't fallen off yet! 😉

I sold the GR Yaris when the baby come along. Have a rav4 and Corolla hybrids now

i was worried about damaging or flooding electrical components. Do you only use water?

Then update your profile ... 😉

Is the RAV FWD or AWD? The AWD has a high voltage connection to the rear motor that has given some issues through salt corrosion - search the forum for detail.

My guess would be that it is better to rinse the salt away than leave the mess to build-up but that's just a guess.

And, yes, I use clean water only ... I haven't considered the impact of adding chemicals to the mix.
