Hey..

Does anyone have any past experience or advice on these?

As i am about to order a set and i want to know whether they're much cop or not!

Craig

Ive got 2 KYB Gas Excel G rear shocks and they are amazing, there was a thread a while ago with the place i ordered them from, but they feel a load better (partly as mine had leaked all oil) but they are top stuff.

I want to get some front ones now too!!!

i have the kyb "gear climb" and these are top notch. far surpass any strut i have had. they are designed for the drifters of japan. the struts themselves are much more beefier and have a bigger diameter than the kyb gr2's and toyota factory struts.

i'm riding on a full set of kyb (like matts) and they are top noch  you won't be disapointed and it's drop my car about 45mm

I bought some from fensport and there ****, softer than the standard sr ones. Make sure you buy the exact ones you want because they do make nasty ones at the lower end.

well thanks for that toby made me think again about them at the lower end, are yours adjustables?

MINE ARE THE SX SPORTS, JUST DONT BUY THEM FROM FENSPORT COZ THEY WILL FOB YOU OF AS THEY DID ME WHICH COST ME A LOT OF MONEY AND MEANT I HAD TO REPLACE, THEY OFFER THEM FOR 35-45 POUNDS, NEED I SAY MORE

Posted

so yours are no good then toby?

THE ONES I HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE 4 YRS AGO WHERE **** COZ I DIDN'T SPEND THE MONEY. I THEN REPLACED THEM WITH GAS FILLED ONES WHICH ARE MUCH BETTER. THE ONLY REASON IVE GOT COILOVERS IS BECAUSE I WANT TO SLAM MY RIDE SO I HAD THEM CUSTOM MADE. WHEN IVE GOT THE REARS OF I WILL POST A PIC OF THEM AND YOU CAN CHECK THEM OUT WITH EVERYONE TO SEE THEY ARE GOOD SHOCKS. BY YHE WAY, HOW DO YOU ATTACH PICS COZ I HAVE FORGOTTEN?!? CHEERS TOBY

Thought you ment the ones you were selling were shocking mate(please excuse the pun lol)

No, there fine coz i speant the extra money, but all i was saying was that don't buy the low end ones because they really arn't worth the paper there written on, as i found out. As soon as there of i will post some pics and you can ask the forum what they think. B) Don't i need to save pics in the gallery first, that is what i used to do and i cant remember how to do it??? cheers bro tobs
