How to find gearbox reference

Hi, 

Recently bought a Yaris ( real cheap as I am broke ). All is well exept the gearbox. I need to replace it, but how to find the reference ?? Its first registered in 2004 , 1L petrol engine, VIN is VNKJVI8370A357350. Its urgent as I only work with indeed flex and drive a lot. Help will be really appreciated.

well its a french built car

Built - 09/2004

Engine - 1szfe

Gearbox - C551

The gearboxes usually fail from the lack of maintenance (fluid changes or incorrect fluid is used)
