Noah towbar - Downward weight

Hello, I have a 2006 Noah 2.0 and recently got an after-market tow bar fitted. The specifications say the max downward force on the ball is not to exceed 50k, this is very low. I'm keen to hear from anyone who has towed up to this limit. It seems very low. I am heavier than that and can stand on the ball and the nose of the car does not seem to lift much at all. Thanks
