Hi,

I have a flashing spanner light come on when driving, and when I park it, it's gone the next time I go drive it. What does it mean?

Side note:

I also only get 38-40 mpg out of it, and I drive in the city(35mph) and highway(70mph). 50/50

A quick Google search shows for Toyotas in general it is:

* a service indicator light for either 1yr or 10k Miles

* an indication of oil level too high

If you can't find your owners manual there is a link on here somewhere that another member published.

check the oil and drain the fuel filter / change it

if it has a DPF it can suffer from oil dilution easily sorted with an oil and filter change

Hi Guys

Thanks for the inputs.

I have tryed searching around here but couldnt find anyting that matched, because everyone said to reset the service light, but that didnt work.

I'll try to change the oil. Have not changed it after i just bought the car.

With oil dilution you will notice a rise in oil level, a change in the viscosity and smell
