Toyota smart connect issues

Hi all,

First my appologies if this has already been answered! Had my yaris x just under 3 yrs and no issues till a couple of weeks ago when i went to load the navigation. Pressed the 'navigation' app then ..... nothing, no response from the system. I did the usual wait a moment and try again.... still nothing. I tried all the obvious eg check software updates, connection to the 'cloud', phone connection, disconnect reconnect phone. Sometimes a loading 'wheel' pops up within the app button then dissapears a few seconds later. I have taken the car back to the dealership and after 2 days in the garage the car is back..... still no nav and the so called technitian seems more puzzled than me.

So, i suppose what im really wondering is has anyone had this issue and had it rectified? I have read an issue with the DCM600 but not sure if these symptoms relay to this issue or if im jist grasping at straws. ANY help would be appreciated.
