I have a 2004 Toyota Sequoia SR5. I was using a power inverter plugged into one of the right front ac ports and the Battery gauge on the inverted started instantaneously flashing back and forth going from green full Battery to red all the way down. then the ports stopped working. Luckily i made it back a 5 hour drive. Then a different time i started it and drove about a block away "truck was working up till this point" then the Battery light on the dash started blinking, engine started stumbling and had like no power and would barely move or stay on unless i floored it, i barely made it home at 10 mph. Anytime i try to start it same thing till battery dies fast. Like full charged battery to dead in a square block. Its like its shorting out somehow. But how could a cigarette lighter stop working make the engine short out?
