Having a fiddle in the car whilst waiting for the mrs, I found out you can rewind live radio via the time shift option, very clever, and useful for me, when I leave work at 5 I can rewind the program that’s started on bbc radio 4 extra, ( no bangin tunes for me, I’m not that down wiv da kids..)

So if you leave at 5 and can rewind to radio 4, what happens if you leave at 4 can you only rewind to radio 3😂

I never thought of that, if I rewind too much I might have to start the working day again🤔

Cool tip! I will give that a try in the Camry; I often just miss out on the news when leaving home or leaving the office. I guess everyone else is okay with listening to it again...

I played with this briefly on my 2018 Yaris a few months back. I think it can only go back over what's already been 'recorded' (ie. with the radio on that channel, a bit like rewinding live TV on a PVR.), rather than a proper catch up service. I may have misunderstood but if true then the more recent cars obviously have more capability - which wouldn't be a surprise.

No I think your right, I assumed that it would only go back so far ..

I recently found out this was possible and as you say you can only go back to the place where you tuned to the station.
