Steering wheel leather

Olá,

Is it just my IQ that has the leather steering wheel coming apart or is it common?
Does anyone have any suggestions? Will the steering wheel covers work?

It depends on how bad the damage is you can buy repair kits which do work well if the damage isn't really bad. I don't think this is a common problem with the IQ but the age of vehicle ,lack of cleaning, and sunlight especially in hotter climates along with friction and oils from hands can all cause this problem. Steering wheels covers can be the answer but they don't suit everyone and can be expensive for good quality. Hope this helps.🙂
