how to remove a 2018 estima's head unit?

Hi guys, 

Just wondering if anyone of you have removed a 2018 estima's head unit? I couldnt find anything about it, so any information will be much appreciated!

Is it that much different to earlier models?

The link may not be from your exact model but it is an estima and may give you a good idea how to remove the trim and head unit.

Thank, it is a bit different, I am actually very surprise that no video or other information about it on internet, is 2018 model nor popular enough?

Sorry guys, I have been away for work, basically, the estima was imported from Japan, so the original head unit is a bit useless, I have installed a head unit for my 2016 Prius, and that was very easy, so wondering if the installation for this estima will be easy and simple too, however I couldnt find any information about it, so guys if you have any information, please let me know, much appreciated; btw, the instruction for the back camera as well.

You can try youtube by typing in "estima radio installation" but there Is limited information but that's not unusual with many vehicles. It does show a back camera installation video but compatibility with your new head unit will need to be confirmed. You could ask @flash22 who is probably the best person to advise on the installation.😄

it's the new gen with a floating screen mid 2016 0n

it should be the same sort of design as the Euro Corolla and gen4 Yaris (touch2 gen 3) the dash opening is a din and a bit with a floating screen)

the front bezel unclips you can then pop the back off and access the screws may be the other way around looking at the parts diagram
