Auto Window Down Ok,but Up?

as most of you know,the gti has an auto window down,but does it have it going up?because mine doesnt!i know i might seem picky,but id like my car to be how it should...

not unless you get a cat one alarm with full closure, but even then its off the fob not the switch.

Its to stop kids getting trapped and killed in the closing window.

Yeh, mines got down but not up.

Guess what, I tried to open my sunroof for the first time in over a year yesterday, and the !Removed! thing has rusted itself shut. Typical with the GTI!! Time to get the angle grinder out me thinks!!

Y didnt they design it to go up too....

As Jon said. So kids don't get their heads trapped in the window and get strangled in the auto up motion. These days, I think alot of windows have sensors, that stop the window going up when pressure is applied to the window, even when your finger is on the close button

i guess so... kids should just be strap down to the max instead of sticking their heads out the window, like some parents don't even care if their kids are strapped in or not... geez. :lol:

Parents that do that really irritate me. :ffs:

They have no idea of safety. They reckon seatbelts are too uncomfortable to wear!!

yeah there was one boy who could of fallen out the window at one point, i didnt wanna drive beside her car just incase... scary stuff.
