Computer replacement for grey import Estima

Hi! We have a problem with the electric windows on our Estima which the local electrics specialist believes will require replacement of a computer. The switch has been replaced twice with no success. I know that only Toyota approved garages cab do this, but so far I haven't found anyone local who will work on a grey import. I'm in south London. Does anyone out there know of a garage who might be able to help with this? Hopefully.....

I had issue with keyless entry, see further down the threads. It seems to have been solved using Toyota Techstream which allows operation via a laptop. That seems to have re established the conection from the computer to the lock. Could well be the same issue with power windows. I am worried for you if your person have advised changing the switches 2 times as they are guessing and computers are not cheap.

there is no "computer" for the windows and it is not dealer-only

 

please tell me what symptoms you have with the windows
