Right what do you lot think

give it bit of a thrashing tonight

not very happy with top speed 120mph

my G-limited has the 180mph clock i think its been converted to mph

its run on 97-98 ron fuel

de-cat

Bosch super 4 plugs

ram air induction kit with alloy extension pipe running up to side air vent

i did have a blitz pannel filter on about a week ago, forgot to see the top speed then.

only had the car about a month, not realy give a good go on a open road

do you think there is anything wrong

i know iam probably opening a can of worms by declaring this

but who **** cares

any pointers will be ace

its cos its an import and theyre limited, u could easy get it removed, should be cheap to do, but why run the risk of losing your licence and having to get rid of a great car?

Is it still restricted (as per Japanese law)?

My G-Ltd pulls like a train up to about the same speed (only got a 110mph speedo at the mo') and then just stops accelerating.

112mph on the limiter .. (I keep hitting it on my turbo).

or about 135 after de-limiting ..

Yours still limited too mate? I'm shocked! :o

I thought that would have been one of the things your AVCR does.

Exactly!

Because it's fun.

Seriously though, where abouts are you driving your car at 120mph? Go on the A1, the average car is doing 70/80mph - your never going to get space on a motorway to do 120+. Unless you have a private road or are on a race track, or perhaps a quiet back road?

I had a delimiter .. (hence my top speed claims) .. but when I got my RSM is cut the de-limiter out of my loom and replaced my speedo with a mph one ..

Just havent got round to soldering in the RSM de-limiter yet.

And on a motorway I *could* easliy do over a ton up the slip road ..

i never said it wasnt fun! but it doesnt seem worth it, see far too many police cars hiding on slip roads and there seems to be more cameras than ever, im not saying i dont put my foot down now and again, but every time i do i kick myself and start thinking what if... remember when your doing that speed your looking at a ban or one hell of a fine.

I was only joking with that - that's why I started my next bit with, "Seriously though". I agree with you, the amount of cameras about now, you arn't going to get very far before you get caught doing speeds like that. 100+ is an instant ban.

As for the slip roads, I didn't even think about them, what would be the point though, it ain't going to last long and by the time you reach 120mph, are you still, seriously, going to be pushing for more?
