Hi,

In a couple of weeks I'm trading in my 2020 2.0 for a new car. The dealer accepted the print outs of the service history as proof. But I am wondering, when I sign out of the car with my MyToyota login and remove the car from my account, does this mean a new owner will be able to associate the car with their own account and see the previous history? Can they do this themselves or does it require a visit to a Toyota dealer to arrange?

thanks

Once the new owner registers the car with the DVLA they can use a number from the V5C to link the car details to their own account on the Toyota website. They will then be able to view the car's dealer service history.

Jon, if all the service records are already on the App Toyota will have that too so printouts should not be necessary.
