Yaris Excel Hatchback software update Feb 2024

Is anyone stuck on this screen? Nothing seems to be happening when updating. I have disconnected car play, bluetooth and I have connected to wi-fi.

Mine installed on Friday. 
First attempt failed but I tried again immediately and it downloaded and installed successfully.

Didn’t disconnect anything or connect to WiFi just with car in normal state.

Used it as an opportunity to leave car in ready mode whilst I unloaded shopping and put away !

I’m pleased that the update installed for you. I’ve turned the WiFi off again and put bluetooth on which is how I normally have it but it is still not working. Will have to keep trying and see.

Problem Resolved!

Hi all, I have been unable to do updates on the smart multimedia system. I have just managed to fix the problem to show “up to date”. I went to Settings, System, then Factory Reset. Let it reboot. Then do all the updates again. This should fix it as it has for me. Took less than 10 minutes!

I've had the same problem as Guest - and what worked for him has worked for me too. So thank you for posting the solution.

For clarity, in my case this was the update from version .135 to .136 on a Yaris Cross.
