Engine cuts out when headlights turned on

I have a 2013 Auris 1.3 VVTI. A few weeks ago it started to cut out when driving. A number of lights would appear on display (i.e. ABS, Traction Control, Stop/Start). It would the start again but cut out from time to time. I got it checked by an auto electrician and he cleaned leads to Battery. I also replaced the Battery. While it fixed some of the problems the car still cuts out when headlights are turned on at first. If you restart engine it will then run no problem. Has anyone seen this before or any suggestions? Check all your earth points are corrosion free and making good contact. Especially on the engine bay area.
