Very pleased , so far, after first week of owning !     BUT , can anyone tell mw how to turn off the white line follower please ?  On our narrow lanes here it is not possible to keep a white line to your right and stay on the road in many places. Therefore, I would like to turn the facility off permanently.

Please Mr. Toyota  , can you help. ?

Be aware that the system will reset to ON every time you restart.

On the steering wheel there's a button with dashed lines and a rectangle/car going diagonally across them; Hold that for 5-10 seconds and the same symbol will disappear from the dashboard. That will disable any lane assistance for that journey.

As Graham says this needs to be done every time the car is turned on, as it will reset.

It will also turn back on if you want to use the cruise control with the auto-steering.

Is it set to beeps or for steering wheel vibration ? I found that setting to steering wheel vibration is much easier to live with.

Totally agree. The car used to annoy me every time I crossed the white line. Like @avmatthews we have a lot of narrow lanes round here. Admittedly, on some of the lanes, the white line is replaced by a strip of grass! 😉
