replace 2019 RAV4 XLE Radiator

Hello, Need to replace my 2019 RAV4 XLE Radiator and Cooling Fan, possibly the fuel pump. A 3" flashlight was left under the hood. No proof of you did it so got quote from one auto shop that the radiator must be a Toyota factory part and $1,879.14. ?Is this true??? Having a warranty would be good. Then got another quote that radiator is 3rd or off market for $330, need to check if has warranty. Note: Prices are for Texas Dallas/Fort Worth area that I am in. Then another option presented was to blaze the hole in the radiator. Is that a viable option or be cause of other possible issues?

Please advise, Isabella

You may not be aware, but this is a UK Toyota owners forum, so the warranty cover is likely to be different, and consumer rights law will definitely be different, so very hard to give any useful advice.

There is definitely at least one US Toyota owners forum as well, which I belive is quite active, but which I don't frequent often, so can't recall the web address. Your preferred search engine should find it fairly quickly tho.

Perhaps someone more engine-repair minded may be able to chime in on what you're suggesting from a mechanic perspective, but I'm afraid I have no clue.
