Replace 12V battery

Hi - I have a 2010 Prius 136K miles and the 12V Battery is dying - car will not start if I leave it for more than about 4 days without driving it.

Can I get this Battery replaced at any place like Halfords or whatever?  I seem to recall that it's a special Battery and it's buried in the back of the car somewhere but I might be remembering that wrong?

Hi Pat,

If you go to Halfords they’ll know whether to a special Battery. I doubt if they would fit one that wasn’t right for your car bearing in mind their batteries come with a five year guarantee. I bought my last Battery for my Prius a couple of years ago from Halfords & I’ve no complaints so far.
