Capacitive steering wheel?

Hello

Does Yaris MY24 have capacitive steering wheel?

Or is still necessary to yank the wheel a little now and then to signal that the driver is attentive when adaptive cruise control is on?

I understand ...if you let go of the wheel on pre MY24...the system warns you , after a short period of time. Now the latest MY24, is slightly different, if no input from driver..it will slowly bring you to a halt...unlock doors and apply hazard warning lights...I'm not if this is car grade dependent ?

MY23, I just have to grab a wheel, no need to yank it I think?

Can't edit so a follow up post. I just paid more attention to how much and where do I need to touch the steering wheel for the LTA "hands on the wheel" alert to go away. It looks like it senses the holding of the back of the wheel, ie. your fingers have to grab the wheel from behind in the 10/2 o'clock points. Just "palming it" like you do for the perfect parallel park is not enough.

AFAIK the Yaris uses the power steering torque sensors to sense whether you're holding the wheel; I find just a light steering input, not enough to actually steer the car, is enough to get rid of the steering warning.

It seems to check at roughly 10 second intervals.

It is possible, as I was driving at ~120km/h and maybe it just decided to steer a little bit left or right to get to the centre of the lane and this was the moment when I grabbed the wheel with my whole hand instead of just the palms. Anyway it's not inconvenient at all. Personally I would drive a little bit more to the outer part of the lane than the LTA was, but that's fine as is.
