HI,

I have just bought a second hand CHR, and the previous owner has left his phone details on the connected bluetooth device list.

When I choose the "Forget" option, it won't allow it as the phone is linked with the "Primary Driver" profile. It says that to remove the profile, you need to logon to it and delete it from there.

The email address of the account it shown, but naturally, I don't have the password.

Is there a way to force delete the profile in order that I may set mine up?

I think there is an option in there somewhere to factory reset it and wipe all data from it.

TBH the dealer or previous owner really should have done that before selling it to you!

Thanks for the info.

I had found the "Reset" option before, but it was low lighted and wouldn't do anything.

Interestingly - I emailed the previous "Primary driver" and got a reply where he said that he had removed the car from his MyToyota account.

Tried the reset opion again today, and it was highlighted, pressed it, and did what it was supposed to. 👍

Also, I was highly impressed when I received a call from Toyota technical support about my problem. Service above and beyond.
