Bluetooth no longer pairs

Hello folks, I have a small big problem.

Since my last Android update, the bluetooth no longer connects properly with my Touch 2 GO, the phone and car connect, but then when I try to play music or make phonecalls there isn't any response from the car.

I tried updating the system, but when I try to download the update pack from Toyota Estore the website always gives me an error message.

I tried connecting the car to the internet via an old phone that seems to be able to connect the bluetooth fine, however the connection always fail, so I can't access the Estore for an update even via the car.

It's very upsetting as I use the phone to play any music an my little daughter does not like listening to my CDs, also I can't make and take phone calls safely whilst driving. I'm going mad.

Any wise advise? I live in UK and I don't really want to pay a dealership to do something I should be able to to myself.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Zeno, have you tried unpairing and pairing your phone to see if this makes any difference. You could also try to reset the head unit to default settings and then try again.😄

I'd go even beyond:

- delete any "paired devices" from your radio/navi unit. Then power it off*.

- delete the "Toyota" device from the bluetooth section of your phone. Switch it off.

*Either unplugging the back connectors, or disconnecting the Battery for a couple of minutes. Be careful with the latter.
