Good evening all, I'm after some help from the  club members. I've bought a 1981 ke70 from Thailand and the guy I bought it from lost some paperwork. I've tried to register with paperwork available to me and have been told the last piece of the puzzle is a letter from a recognised owners club or Toyota to confirm date of first registration. If anyone can help I'd be for ever grateful and will cover what's ever costs are incurred.

Thanks johnny

Unfortunately the Club doesn't have access to the information to provide this type of confirmation.

Toyota GB may be able to help - see their guidance notes attached:

DVLA used to have lists of registered people / companies that offer this service. Only those are acceptable to them.

It costs around £30 for motorbikes. I have no experience doing it with a car.

I have done this a few times with motorbikes. As far as I know all Japanese manufacturers will provide full details regarding build dates and any other relevant information but it can be expensive. Suzuki charge around £100.
