I have a new model CHR  2L and I have become frustrated trying to find out where the 12 volt Battery is located. In the previous model it was in the boot. But not anymore. The on-line manual is not helpful and just adds to my frustration . I guess I Will have to visit my dealer- again, as I spend my spare time there trying to learn about my car.

Hi Brian, your 12v Battery is under the bonnet, does the owners manual not show were it is.😄

Do you have the user guide or the owners manual, which is more comprehensive?

You can download the full owners manual from:

Thanks Bper. I will check but I couldn’t find it when I read the manual.

I have the users guide but I find the online manual a pain to negotiate ( probably an age related thing).

The 12v Battery of my 2021  1.8L hybrid is under the bonnet.  It is shown in the handbook which came with the car.  I find the handbook  bit frustrating as you have to search carefully or you can miss the information you are looking for, even though it is there.   I’m not aware of there being any other manual, others than this handbook.

Just for information you may be able to purchase a printed copy of the owners manual from your dealer - around £25 or so due to the limited print runs involved.
