Mobile phone in car.

Wish I could resolve my problem with leaving my phone in the tray of the car. Have the earlier info system with city pack so plug in the USB, happy with it as there is no wireless charging but do end up leaving the phone when I get out so many times. Phone is android by the way. Not found any app that fits so far. Looking at android auto connection notification but it seems to be based on connecting rather than disconnecting. Not keen on the idea of a glowing phone case as my friend suggested.

Hi Mark, you could use something like Prox PRD it lets you know when you are to far away from your phone and there is no subscription. It does get some good writeups but nothing is fallproof but have look.

Failing that leave a sticker in the corner of the window or on the door somewhere to remind you its there.The last thing you want is an opportunist who sees a phone flashing in the car. I guarantee if you got it nicked and the car broken into you would never forget a phone again.😄👍

Thanks for the feedback Bper.

Eventually resolved it by installing an app that makes an alarm sound when it is disconnected from the charging. That way it reminds me to take the phone out everytime.
