It’s curtains for me!

My 1994 HiAce Campervan has the worst curtains ever!  Is there a more modern solution than curtains on runners - blackout blinds, roller blinds, insulated?  Thoughts appreciated!

Well the first thing that you have to do is pull yourself together.

(Sorry couldn't resist 😜)

I remember that there were some roller and some Venetian blinds on my old auto sleeper,as well as part curtains, windscreen cover etc.

A right old mix.

I seem to remember insulated pull down blinds on vertical tracks in the newer motorhomes at that time, and campers in the showrooms that looked good.

If you have a large showroom like this where you are, they usually have a large accessory dept attached, with many different kinds of blinds.

I can see why you'd want insulated though if you are using it to sleep in it,in the UK out of season.

Out of interest, what is the engine in yours?

Engine is a 3L auto 2.8, just been rebuilt but missing some bits, as usual. New Toyota genuine head, skimmed block, 0.5mm rebore, pistons, rings, shells etc.

thanks for your input.
